Fruit is a really nice mishloach manos option.
I love this packaging idea because of the convenience of using the original box the mousse cups come in, without the added expense or runaround for a box. I removed the cardboard insert from the original box, filled the cups with chopped fruit, and then returned them to the box.
If you don’t want the bother of cutting the fuit last minute, you can use these mousse cups for any other mishloach manos idea — dips, herring, trifles, candy, nuts, smoothies, etc.

By the foot, by the yard — whichever length you choose, this Mishloach Manos will surely measure up! It is a fun Mishloach Manos to receive and equally as fun to make. You can make it as long or short as you would like it to be and fill it with candy, buts, chocolate.....
I created these packages with a heat sealer and special tubing. A heat sealer is a really neat tool to use!
The sealer and the tubing cost about $30 each, but the tubing comes with over 2,000 feet, which will last a very long time! There are so many other ways to use this neat tube sealing method. The sealer can be used on cellophane bags as well.
You will need:
salt water taffies, gummy candy, nuts, etc.
stapler and/or hot glue gun
graphics: 2x8-inch bag topper, folded in half
Directions:
Important Note: Before using the sealer, practice! It heats the plastic very quickly, and the bag can melt easily.

Enjoy this Red Velvet Mishloach Manos, a sure “stamp” of royalty!
]]>
Being that the Purim story speaks so much about kings and queens and the royal palace,I thought it would be a creative idea to tie in red velvet biscotti with the theme of royalty for Mishloach Manos.
The rich and luxurious connotation of red velvet can be associated with royalty, making it a special addition to a Mishloach Manos.
When incorporating the red velvet biscotti into this Mishloach Manos, I packaged them in a regal and decorative way to go along with the theme. There is something so rich looking to these red velvet bags and ribbon and to the wax seal, which gives it a final touch.
Enjoy this Red Velvet Mishloach Manos, a sure “stamp” of royalty!
You will need:
red velvet biscotti (see note)
red peanuts, red jelly beans, or licorice.....
box (I used a 9x4½x2-inch box from B and B) You can really use any box.
Directions:
Note: For the red velvet biscotti, just add red food coloring to any chocolate biscotti recipe.

The fresh pears paired with lightly sweetened cooked pears, lace cookies and tea packed in a wooden crate, is a really special presentation.
Walking into Gelbstiens Bakery/Elegant Desserts in Lakewood, NJ to pick up their mouthwatering, buttery, flaky croissants makes you feel like you have just visited a French patisserie.
While in the bakery the other day to pick up some fresh croissants for a brunch I was hosting, I thought they would make a great Mishloach Manos. ]]>In a special collaboration, EstherO Design partnered with Lieber's to curate a delightful three-page spread that has been featured in national and local magazines in honor of Chanukah.
Our mission: to turn Chanukah into a canvas of delectable delights, making memories that linger on taste buds and in hearts long after the candles have been extinguished.
As a content creator, different jobs require different sets of skills. Creating content for a magazine grants me the freedom to explore a myriad of products, weaving them seamlessly into the fabric of conceptual visions. On the flip side, collaborating with a company introduces a different dynamic—constraints and guidelines that, paradoxically, can spark the flame of ingenuity. It's important to find creative solutions within the given parameters.
Understanding their vision and aligning creative ideas with their brand message was the key.
Recognizing the global appeal of the content and tailoring it to suit a diverse audience was important, especially when it's intended for publication in national and local magazines around the world.
Developing concepts that are not only fun but also practical and doable for a wide range of ages contributes to the success of the article.
Designing crafts that can be applied throughout the year adds a layer of sustainability and practicality to content, making it valuable beyond the specific holiday season. For example, on the S’mores Board-I love the concept of using a cookie cutter to cut a graham cookie-this can be used with any shape throughout the year, or mosaic cookies can also be made to fit any holiday or occasions.

I always enjoy going out to a Chanukah party in a different neighborhood, town, or city. Growing up, my parents always pointed out to us how the number of menorahs diminished as we reached the outskirts of our area, and when we got closer to another Jewish community, we were always “challenged” with the question, “Who’s going to spot the first menorah?!” And then we would start counting until it became impossible to count so fast!
Today, with all the new neighborhoods that keep popping in various cities to accommodate the growing Jewish population, it’s so much fun to see all the “menorah windows” that dot the map. This was the inspiration behind this menorah window craft.
You will need:
Directions:
* 2 crackers cut into 2 squares (for a total of 4 squares)
* 2 crackers cut into 2 long rectangles (for a total of 4 long rectangles)
* 1½ crackers, cut into 6 quarters
Tips:
* Try to handle as little as possible as the windows are fragile.
* I recommend decorating the window on a hard surface that it can be displayed on, for example a small wood cutting board or tray.
*Buy extra graham crackers in case some come broken
