Rosh Hashanah Greetings!

Isn’t it amazing how Rosh Hashanah always sneaks up on us?  We spend a carefree summer enjoying the sun and the pool and then all of a sudden Rosh Hashanah is a few weeks away. Amidst getting the kids geared up for a new school year, don’t forget about the Jewish New Year.  Rosh Hashanah has been celebrated for millennia with the sweetness of honey, symbolizing  our hopes for sweetness in our new year.  After the harrowing summer in Israel, and unfortunately too many local tragedies, we all have fervent wishes for a sweet new year.  Carrying the theme of honey and sweetness through to our Rosh Hashanah gift packages, I have designed a few gift baskets that reflect this mindset.  (View the whole collection at This quaint red wooden pail filled with Savannah Bee Wildflower Honey, Matts Munchies Apple-licious fruit snacks, Apple Cinnamon Gumballs and a wooden honey dipper is priced at under $25 and expresses your Shanah Tova wishes to friends and family.

If you’re a green person, this gift package is for you.The Jute Bag with wooden handles, decorated with a whimsical bee print is filled with Savannah Bee Honey for Tea, Dried Kiwis, and Jelly Fruit Slices.  And of course the wooden honey dipper.  Say Happy New Year in style from Only Kosher Candy’s Triple Bee Bag.

And least you think that Apples and Honey is taking over the Rosh Hashanah landscape, we haven’t forgotten about the symbolic pomegranate!  Pomegranates have been showcased on our Rosh Hashanah tables for centuries as a fruit symbolic of our desire to proliferate and be numerous like the seeds of a pomegranate.  In recent years pomegranates have risen to super-star status amongst the fruit baskets.  This year you don’t have to worry about how you are going to get out those plump juicy arils without spraying yourself and your counters with bright red juice.  Our Pomegranate Deseeder really works.  I have used it for years and vouch for its efficiency.  Using the deseeder as a Rosh Hashanah Basket ensured that this gift is going to be used time and again.

Last but certainly not least is the showstopper Gourmet Rosh Hashanah Gift Basket.   If you are looking to make an impression, this Holiday gift basket is sure to do just that.  This gift includes 2 jars of Savannah Bee Wildflower Honey Flutes, Empress Hazelnut Truffles, Glass/Bamboo honey jar filled with Taffies, and assorted bags of chocolates and apple taffies.

Whether you are saying “Happy New Year!” or “Shana Tova” or “A Gut Gebentched Yohr” you can say it in style and good taste with Only Kosher Candy’s Gift Baskets.
