Brownie Gift Tray

Brownie Tray

Brownie Tray

With this inexpensive tray which I picked up at a local Dollar Tree, I figured I can skip a step of the packaging process.

Bake, wrap and send, all on the tray – without spending time cutting either. With the easy prep and extra delicious “toppings”, you’re sure to score some real “brownie points”.

You will need:

  • Brownie recipe

Recipe adapted from Dining In Again. Recipe below.

  • 9x13" tray
  • Shrink Wrap
  • Ribbon
  • Container filled with chocolates (I used coffee beans)
  • Initial Sticker

Brownies:

Yields: One recipe chocolate + one recipe white dough yields approx. 2.5 - 9"x13" cookie sheets

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 package chocolate or vanilla pudding (Chocolate for chocolate dough, vanilla for white dough)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Toppings-Viennese crunch broken into pieces, mini marshmallows, macadamia nuts, non perils..

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream first 3 ingredients together.

Add remaining ingredients.

Cut a piece of parchment to fit the bottom of the cookie sheet, not the sides.

Fold the parchment paper in four and mark with a sharpie.

Flip parchment over and put into the pan.

Press dough into the pan alternating between the two colors.

Bake approximately 25-30 minutes.

Remove from oven and press the toppings into the dough immediately.

Allow to cool.

Shrink wrap the pan.

Tie box of chocolate together with brownies using your ribbon.

  • These look amazing and a real treat to make. Just wanted to confirm that the recipe above makes 2.5 trays. I just wanted to make sure I understood correctly
    Many thanks
