Here is a wonderful activity for your next ladies/young ladies function.
We especially like this Challah Baking Bar idea for a Bas Mitzvah Party Activity. It gives the Bas Mitzvah Girl the opportunity to do the mitzvah of Hafrashas Challah for the very first time in the presence of close family and friends.
To “top” it off, everyone can braid and spice their own challah, choosing from an assortment of seeds and spices.
Teaching a new way to braid the challah can be an exciting part of the activity. This challah bake was done before Rosh Hashanah hence the round challah.
You can send home freshly baked challah in bakery boxes .
You will need:
sectionals for toppings
sesame seeds, poppy seeds, zaatar, minced onion, minced garlic, salt, sweet crumbs…..
bakery boxes (optional)

This idea was originally featured in an article we wrote for Mishpacha Magazine.
Our friends at BP Print Group created a beautiful challah cover to use to cover the challah as it rises. Each guest can go home with this momento, which is both useful and practical, as the bracha of Hafrashas Challah and the Yhi Ratzon are conveniently printed on it .
Tip-If you don’t have time to make the dough before the party, ask a friend to help you or you can purchase challah dough at a bakery.

Where did you purchase the challah covers? Did you design it or they did?
BP Print Group designed and printed them.
