Kiwi, also known as the Chinese gooseberry, is a fascinating fruit that offers a delicious blend of flavor and health benefits.
Take advantage of this delicious and beautiful fruit to create a special chocolate “tree”t for Tu B’shvat.
This Kiwi Tree is made out of slices of kiwis for the leaves and melted chocolate for the bark.
It’s a quick, easy and delicious edible craft to create with your children in honor of Tu B’shvat.
Supplies:
- dark chocolate, melted
- fresh or dried sliced kiwis
- blueberries and pomegranate seeds
- large plate
Directions:
- Place chocolate in a Freezer Ziploc bag and place it in the microwave till melted (For best results microwave in 30 second increments.).
- Cut a tiny hole in the corner of the bag and draw a tree trunk outline. Fill in the outline with chocolate.
- Add kiwi slices for the leaves and decorate with blueberries and pomegranate seeds.
