Shake things up this Sukkos with this adorable Lulav and Esrog set to place at every place setting.
Years ago, we came up with the idea of handing out lulav and esrog candies to our sukkah hoppers. It was always these lemon candies with either green rock candy on a stick, sour sticks or sour belts. This year we gave our lulav and esrog treat a whole new upgrade.
For the lulav, we glued green foil wrapped Zaza to chop sticks and wrapped ribbons around it. You can save yourself this step and buy any green candy instead such ad Froozies, sour sticks, rock candy etc.
We used a Cricut and wrote “lulav” on the lulav bag, but of course you can personalize them as well with a name. You can also use puff paint to write with.
For the esrog box, we actually used a piece of foam that cam with the esrog. You can use this foam or even some stuffing.
You will need:
- silver boxes
- foam
- lemon candy
- green candy
- chop sticks
- green ribbon
- long felt bag
- Cricut lettering or paint markers
