Magic Shell Ice Cream Balls

How cute are these Magic Shell Ice Cream Balls?

These sweet and elegant Magic Shell Ice Cream Balls are simple to make and fun to eat. We love the way they look on a serving platter or served with other small confections on plated dessert plates. 

You will need:

• Oreos
• ice cream
• small ice cream scoop
• magic shell recipe (see below)
• assorted toppings such as mini pretzels, nut brittle ,crushed pistachios , freeze dried strawberries…..

MAGIC SHELL

• 2/3 cup chocolate chips
• 1/3 cup coconut oil

Directions:

1. Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a  microwave safe bowl.
2. Heat at 30 second intervals until chips are almost  melted.
3. Stir to combine and allow to cool.

 Directions:

1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Using a small  ice cream scoop, scoop ice cream onto the sandwich cookies.
3. Place cookie sheet in freezer until  ice cream is hard.
4. Dip balls in magic shell and place on parchment paper.
5. Working quickly, decorate with toppings.
6. Freeze.
