Create a Stunning Dreidel Cookie Mosaic

One of the most eye-catching ways to present these Dreidel Sugar Cookies is by arranging them into a vibrant cookie mosaic. This simple technique turns your cookies into gorgeous cookies—no special tools needed, just creativity and color.

What Is a Cookie Mosaic?

A cookie mosaic is a design created by placing pieces of chocolate in a strategic pattern so they form a pretty design.

We’re going to have to admit, these Mosaic Dreidel Cookies idea is one of the most clever cookie crafts.

As we were making them, they reminded us of perler beads, you know how it can just keep everyone busy and creative for a long time?? With these Mosaic Dreidel Cookies you can get super creative.

We used Lieber’s colored chocolate for this project which comes in so many pretty  colors.

We used a dreidel shape cookie cutter here, but of course you can use any shape cookie cutter.

Check out these Mosaic Chocolate Tree  idea which is the same concept-perfect for a Tu Bshvat or fall craft.

See below for some of the many designs we came up with, we’d love to see what you come up with too!

 You will need:

      • Liebers colored chocolate, melted

      • dreidel sugar cookies

      • icing

    Directions:

        1. Starting with one color chocolate, spread melted chocolate in a thin layer on a piece of foil. Place in freezer for approximately 10 minutes. Test to see if you like the thickness of the chocolate and then repeat with each color.

        1. Spread a little bit of icing on each cookie. Cut “mosaic” pieces of chocolate and stick it to the icing. To make the designs, you can either break off pieces of chocolate or use a sharp knife to make straighter lines. If you are using a knife- the chocolate should be at room temperature so that it is soft and won’t crack while cutting.                                                                                               Tip: This is a great cookie decorating activity for all ages. As you can see, the designs can be done on a juvenile level or on a more sophisticated level.
