How to set up and play the game
Think of this party game as a reverse Ker Plunk, but way sweeter. You’ll need a wire basket, some dowels, a wooden dreidel (or a colored dice if you’re not using this as a Chanukah game), and a bunch of candy or small prizes. Color the dowels to match the dreidel sides, then fill the basket with your goodies. Stick the dowels through the candy to make a little web. When it’s time to play, each player spins the dreidel or dice, then removes a stick of the matching color. As they pull a stick (without shaking), any candy that falls out is theirs to keep. The goal is to drop the most candy and win the game!
For Any Celebration—Big or Small
This party game is a crowd-pleaser for any celebration. It’s easy to set up, adaptable to any party theme and endless fun for all ages. Whether you’re going all-out for a Chanukah party or keeping it casual, this game will add an exciting twist to your next event and leave everyone scrambling for their loot!
Make It Your Own
Want to make sure everyone’s having a blast, no matter their age? You can easily customize the game to fit your crowd. For kids, pack the basket with candy or small toys that’ll spark their excitement. For adults, swap in gift cards and fun trinkets to keep things interesting. The beauty of this party game is that it works for anyone—you just adjust the prizes to match the mood and the age group.
Ready, set, play!
Nothing gets people talking like an icebreaker that keeps everyone on their toes—this party game does exactly that. It pulls guests together in the most unexpected way. No one’s standing around wondering what to do next. Even if your guests are strangers or old friends, this game guarantees everyone is involved and making memories. It really is the perfect party starter!

You will need:
- wire basket
- 1/4″ x 12″ dowels
- wooden dreidel these have a different color letter on each side, alternately you can use a blank dreidel and color each side a different color
- markers
- different size candy, gelt or prizes
Set Up Directions:
- Color the ends of the dowels to coordinate with the colors of the dreidel. You can also use a blank dreidel and color it with markers.
- Begin filling the basket with candy, adding sticks as you go to form a lattice “web” that holds the candy in place. Repeat this step 2-3 times till the candy is done. We filled the basket about 2/3 of the way. It is a goo idea to use some bigger items because it prevents the smaller items from coming out too quickly.
- Carefully turn the basket over. It is a good idea for two people to do this together so the sticks don’t fall out in the process.
Directions for Playing:
Going around the table, each player spins the dreidel or dice and removes one of the color sticks he/she spun. The player gets to keep any of the candy that fell out during his turn. (No shaking allowed as the basket is lifted.)
