Agate slices are all the rage these days. I see them as book ends, coasters, necklaces and more!
I had to take a double take when I saw agate cookies at my neighbors Bas Mitzvah party a few weeks ago, made by the Bas Mitzvah girl’s grandmother.
These magical agate cookies can be made in a variety of shapes and colors to match any color scheme you are using.
I thought using these agate cookies in a mishloach manos would make a really striking presentation. We added a chocolate bar as the second food item.
I love the way Leah of OMG Design, coordinated the chocolate bar wrapper to match the agate cookies.
You will need:
- white box with clear cover
- chocolate bar rewrapped in gold candy wrapping foil
- chocolate bar wrapper (graphics by [email protected])
- initial sticker (I cut this with my cricut)
- ribbon
- 2 cookies

Agate Cookies:
You will need:
- your favorite royal icing cookie recipe
- gold sugar crystals
- rock candy (loose or rock candy lolly pops broken down into small pieces)
Directions:
- Decorate cookies with royal icing.
- While the royal icing is still wet,add the sugar crystals and rock candy.
