Here are two beautiful ways to enhance your sukkah with minimal work and effort. Flowers always make everything look pretty and cheerful. The nice thing about this Flower Sukkah Decor is that they are waterproof and you should be able to save them from year to year.
For the Flowers in Bubbles, we placed the flowers in plastic ornaments. For the Light Bulb Vases, the lightbulb is used as a hanging vase.
We always find the most tedious part of this project to be attaching the strings. Here are two tips that have helped us throughout the years.
- Instead of hanging the string around the schach or beams, take the time to screw small hooks into the schach or beams and hang the string on the hook. This will take time, but your hooks will then be in place from year to year.
- To store the balls or lightbulbs, do not remove the strings. Take a pole or a piece of bamboo and hang them on the pole. Once they are all on, nail either side of the pole to a wall or ceiling in your basement or garage. What a nice way to decorate a utility room suring the year!
