Chocolate Cheese Trifles
Servings 18 2" squares
Ingredients
- Your favorite chocolate cake recipe (I used Hershey's)
Chocolate Cream-Cheese Layer
- 2 ½ cups confectionersâ sugar
- 2 Tbsp cocoa
- 8 oz hard cream cheese
- 4 oz butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Âĵ tsp salt
Whip Topping Layer
- 8 oz whip topping
- 3 Tbsp confectionersâ sugar
Instructions
Chocolate Cream-Cheese Layer
- Place all ingredients in a bowl of an electric mixer and beat together.
Whip Topping Layer
- Place whip in the bowl of an electric mixer.
- Beat till firm and add confectionersâ sugar.
To Assemble:
- Put chocolate cream â cheese frosting in one pastry bag and whipped cream in another.
- Layer cake, chocolate cream â cheese frosting, cake, and whipped cream in the plastic boxes. Cover and add a label.
