Donuts, donuts, donuts…..Well…….if everyone’s noshing on donuts anyways, why not “dress them up” a bit and serve them as the dessert?!
With this variety of donuts and filling options you’re sure to satisfy every palate while bringing a classy angle to your Chanukah Party/family gathering etc.
Supplies:
- mini donuts (I used chocolate and powdered mini Franczos – for the cinnamon and sugar donut, I dabbed a bit of water on the top of a powdered donut and sprinkled it with cinnamon and sugar. You can of course make your own mini donuts with a donut machine.)
- jelly
- caramel
- custard
- strawberry (we used frozen)
- lemon rind
- chocolate curls
- rectangle plate
Directions:
- Slice a drop off the bottom of the donuts so they can stand.
- Put caramel and custard in two separate pastry bags fitted with a tip. Squeeze out a small amount in from of two of the donuts. Garnish with lemon ring and chocolate curls.
- Place a small puddle of jelly in front of the remaining donut and garnish with a strawberry or cherry.
