Dreidel Dash: A Fast, Fun, and Festive Chanukah Matching Game
Add excitement and energy to your Chanukah party with Dreidel Dash—a clever geometric pattern-matching game that brings out creativity, focus, and just the right amount of friendly competition.
It’s quick, colorful, and totally addictive, making it perfect for kids, teens, and adults alike!
Whether you’re hosting a classroom activity, a cousins party, or a family Chanukah night, Dreidel Dash guarantees laughter, concentration, and lots of spinning-themed fun.
You will need:
- one game board and stencil card for each player
- one set of dreidel pattern cards
- scissors
- razor blade
- buzzer
- timer (optional, for younger children)
- laminating machines (optional)
Directions for preparing the game:
- Print out all game printables.
- Cut out the game boards and game pieces.
- Use a razor blade to cut out the center of each dreidel stencil card. Discard the dreidel cutout.
- Laminate game (optional)
Directions for Playing:
- Give each player a game board, buzzer and a dreidel stencil.
- Shuffle the dreidel pattern cards and place the pile face down.
- Flip over the top card. Each player uses their stencil to try to match the dreidel design on their board. The first player to match the pattern and tap the buzzer wins the card.
Alternate version for younger children:
- Set a timer for each player’s turn.
- The player tries to match the pattern before the timer goes off to win the card.
- Continue until all cards have been played. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.

Yes!!
Some are more challenging, making this fun for all ages!
Hint- they may be a combination of squares on the board!
