A mini artificial lemon gives the look of an esrog, while fresh or faux leaves add that natural greenery that works so beautifully on a Sukkah table. Paired with a cloth or cloth-like napkin and a woven napkin ring, it’s an easy DIY detail that gives your Sukkos tablescapes that extra touch.

They work especially well with natural, rustic or leafy Sukkos table decor, but they’re simple enough to coordinate with almost any tablescape.

You Will Need

Woven napkin rings
Mini artificial lemons
Cloth or cloth-like napkins
Faux or fresh leaves
Hot glue gun

Directions

1. Attach the Mini Esrog

Using a hot glue gun, glue one mini artificial lemon onto the woven napkin ring. Allow the glue to set.

2. Fold the Napkin

Fold the napkin in half on an angle.

Roll the napkin, then fold it in half.

3. Assemble the Napkin Ring

Slide the folded napkin through the napkin ring.

Tuck fresh or faux leaves into the napkin ring alongside the napkin to create the look of a lulav and esrog-inspired place setting.

Tip

If you’re using faux leaves, glue them to the inside of the napkin ring. This makes the leaves permanent and allows you to save your Lulav and Esrog napkin rings and use them again year after year.
