Pass the Candy: A Sweet Mishloach Manos Idea
Who doesn’t love the game Pass the Present? Now, imagine a mishloach manos with a fun twist!
We’ve adapted the idea to create a Mishloach Manos gift that doubles as both a treat and a game. Wrapped to look like a candy, this fun idea is perfect for spreading Simchas Purim fun. Not only is it fun, but it’s also budget-friendly and fully customizable to suit any price point, size, or shape.
Your recipients can have fun playing Pass the Candy at their Purim Seuda!
Of course this idea would be super fun at a birthday party too!
What You Will Need:

- candy and/or other items to wrap (we started with an orange in the center to give it a nice round look, but feel free to get creative!)
- newspaper or Saran Wrap
- a box (optional, if you want to create a square or rectangular-shaped “candy”)
- tissue paper (solid or printed for added flair)
- ribbons
- labels

How to Create Your Pass the Candy Mishloach Manos:
-
- Start by wrapping your first item in newspaper or Saran Wrap. Keep adding layers of Saran Wrap or newspaper with candy between the layers.
- Once all your items are wrapped, take your tissue paper and wrap it around the package to create the “candy” look. You can opt for solid-colored tissue paper or get creative with fun prints to add some personality.
- Tie the ends of the candy with ribbons.
- Add a label with a personalized message or a small note.
