Beautiful decor and delicious food are nice, but it’s really the fun and entertainment that creates warm and cozy memories. Here is another fantastic party idea to make sure your guests will want to come back next year for another round.
Balloons are an inexpensive and a fun way to entertain at a party with an endless array of games and activities you can do with them.
My friend recently told me about this fun balloon game she played at a party where you guide your blindfolded team member and try to direct him/her to the correct balloons to pop!
The team that pops all their balloons wins!
You will need:
- balloons
- masking tape
- scarves for blindfolding
- pins
Directions for game setup:
- Blow up balloons in different colors.(You will need an even amount of colors for each team.)
- Tape them to the wall in a tight cluster.
Directions for playing:
- Divide group into teams and assign each team their color balloons.
- Starting with one team, blindfold one team member and hand them a pin for popping the balloons.
- Set a timer and let the fun begin!!
Remaining team members direct the popper (up,down,right,left).
You can be creative with each rounds directions.
For example:
- Use different languages
- Use directions-North, East, South ,West
- Use clock directions-12,3,6,9:00…….
- Use your neighbors behind you(down), across (up), around the corner to the right (right),around the corner to the left (left).
How to win:
The team that pops the most team color balloons wins.
