A Mellow Yellow Shavuos Table
“One Color, Endless Depth”
Sometimes, narrowing the focus opens up a whole new kind of creativity.
While we usually build a table around a palette of a few complementary colors flowers, there’s something striking—and a little magical—about choosing just one color (in this case we did add some white). For this setting, we focused solely on yellow, layering it through a spectrum of shades. Using a single color in varying tones creates a bold yet refined look. The contrast between buttery soft blooms and vivid sunshine petals adds natural texture and visual interest, making a tablescape feel both cohesive and dynamic.
The pineapple flower was a last minute add on we couldn’t resist!
We chose a basket weave fabric, also available in green.
Here is what we used:
See below for other options as well.
- basketweave tablecloth and napkins (Stitch n Sew)
- placemats (Hobby Lobby)
- gold rimmed charger
- black and white floral plastic plates
- stemware
Supplies for seating cards:
