Honey Dipper Seating Cards – Edible & Elegant DIY
Looking for a fun, festive, and functional way to elevate your Rosh Hashanah table this year? These Honey Dipper Seating Cards are a sweet touch—literally! Inspired by our friend Basya’s original resin version, we’ve created a quicker, edible version using melted honey candies.
They double as place cards and]sweet treats, making them perfect for any celebratory table where thoughtfulness and creativity matter.
Since every oven bakes a bit differently, start by testing one first. Be sure to keep a close eye while baking to prevent burning.

Directions
1. Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Personalize the Dippers
Using a thin permanent marker, write each guest’s name on a wooden honey dipper.
3. Melt the Candy
Place two honey candies side by side on the parchment for each seating card. Space them apart, as they will spread while melting.
Bake for approximately 8 minutes, or until the candies are melted into small puddles. Watch closely—they melt fast!
4. Add the Dippers
Immediately after removing the tray from the oven, press a personalized honey dipper into the melted candy. For added charm, use a spoon to gently drizzle a bit of melted candy onto the dipper to resemble “honey drips.”
5. Let Cool & Set
Allow everything to harden at room temperature. Once cool, carefully peel off the parchment paper. Your edible seating cards are ready to display!
Store in air tight container.

What company Candies did you use?
Itried 1 kind but the color of their honey candies is white…
It will turn darker and look more like honey once baked. You can leave it in longer to get a deeper color.
