Chanukah Tablescape and Photo Booth
Symmetry and bold colors come together in this creative Peacock Chanukah Party Setup (and Photo Booth), creating a balanced, awe-inspiring display that beautifully celebrates the nissim of Chanukah.
From understated children’s menorahs to elegant peacock feathers, edible place cards, penny napkin rings, and a creative photo booth, every detail is designed to welcome family and friends.
By combining rich colors with striking design elements—like the striped ribbons in this setup—you can create a décor that truly wows. Start with a solid-color tablecloth, then unroll ribbons for a dramatic effect. For a budget-friendly alternative, try using crepe paper streamers—they’re simple yet stunning!

Cookie Seating Cards

You will need:
- dreidel cookie cutter
- sugar cookie dough
- black fondant
- royal icing (You can make your own or use this royal icing.)
- sugar crystals
Directions:
- Cut out one dreidels.
- Using a sharp knife, cut out 1″ x 1.5″ rectangles for the seating card stands.
- Bake dreidels and rectangles on separate trays because the rectangles will bake faster. Allow to cool.
- Decorate cookies with fondant, royal icing and sugar crystals. Allow to dry.
- Use a toothpick to chisel a groove on the back of the dreidel in a 1” horizontal line in the center of the cookie and then lean the dreidel cookie on the short side of the rectangle cookie as a stand. We found that with this method the cookies stood beautifully and did not require chocolate to stick them together. Voila! a dreidel that never falls!

Photo Booth
This photo booth backdrop, matching to the party decor, makes a fun and exciting entertainment at any party. Have the adults and children take photos of each other. This idea is a great idea for a family party. You can take pictures of all the people at the party and then present it to the Bubby and Zeidy as a special momento.
Everyone at the party can use their own phones and cameras or you can buy a couple of inexpensive cameras. The pictures can be printed at a later date and then sent to Bubby and Zeidy or you can invest in a photo printer which is a really nice investment.
Imagine giving Bubby and Zeidy a special album each year, so they can watch the grandchildren grow from year to year.
