Shawarma Bar: Customizable, Delicious & Fun for Everyone
Why We Love a Bar Setup at Any Event
A bar-style setup is one of those elements that guests truly enjoy and hosts appreciate just as much. It gives guests the freedom to choose and customize exactly what they want, while hosts can relax and enjoy the event once everything is set up. It’s interactive, festive, and always a crowd-pleaser.
Our Pick: A Shawarma Bar
For this event, we chose a full Shawarma Bar featuring:
Fresh salads
Soft pitas
Hot fries
Crispy falafel balls
Traditional shawarma
Fried shawarma
All of the food was prepared by Agripas Street Restaurant in Lakewood, NJ. Many people assume shawarma is always hot and spicy, but at Agripas Street, the focus is on rich, savory flavor—with the option to add heat for those who prefer it. This makes the setup appealing to a wide range of tastes.
A Fun and Flavorful Experience
A shawarma bar allows guests to build their perfect plate while adding a fun, interactive touch to the celebration. It’s the ideal combination of convenience, great food, and excitement for any occasion—whether it’s a family gathering, party, or simcha.
How We Styled the Shawarma Bar
For the setup, we used black velvet tablecloths paired with gold dishes and accents, creating a sophisticated and inviting look. On the main table, we added kraft paper beneath the food to add a rustic, Middle Eastern-inspired element that tied the presentation together beautifully.
A Setup That Truly Appreciated
A shawarma bar not only looks impressive—it brings an elevated, customizable experience to any event. It’s an excellent option for serving a crowd, keeping things stress-free, and creating a memorable celebration your guests will love.
