A Fresh Take on Mishloach Manos

When it comes to Mishloach Manos, we love ideas that feel fresh, creative, inexpensive, and just a little unexpected. This year, we came up with a really cool out-of-the-glass idea—literally.

Turn Stemware Into a Stylish Jar

By removing the stem from a piece of plastic stemware and turning it upside down, you instantly create a unique, eye-catching jar. It’s simple, clever, and totally transforms an everyday item into something special.

Endless Color and Filling Options

Use stemware in any color to match your theme, and fill it with your favorite treats—candy, nuts, cookies, or even small gifts. Because it’s clear and structured, everything inside becomes part of the design.

Finish with Details That Shine

Complete the look with tags, ribbons, and labels for a polished, put-together finish. These small details elevate the entire presentation and make your Mishloach Manos feel thoughtful and intentional.

Simple, Stylish, and Memorable

This easy twist on a classic item turns your Mishloach Manos into something fun, stylish, and totally memorable—proof that a little creativity goes a long way.

You will need:

  • 2 plastic stemware (Stemawre is available at many supermarkets and is likely less expensive there.)
  • 1” x 10” label
  • ribbon

Directions:

  1. Remove one of the stems. We found the easiest way to remove it is to put a lit match where you want the stem broken off. As the plastic begins to melt, bend off the stem.
  2. Fill the bottom stemware with food.
  3. Turn the now stemless cup over the stemware. Secure with tape.
  4. Wrap label around the tape.
  5. Add a bow.
  6. Add a hanging tag (optional).
