We love the idea of starting off a meal with a delicious salad. When presented in an appealing way, you’re off to a really good start!
We recently wrote a simcha spread for Mishpacha Magazine Family First showcasing ideas for preparing your own simcha. Included were exciting recipes, garnishing and plating ideas from appetizer through dessert. The feedback was fabulous. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing some of the ideas with you. When preparing for a simcha, yom tov meal or any special occasion, we especially like to focus on the first course since a beautiful appetizer is like the cover of a good book!
You can adapt this idea using any salad of your choice to fill in the “X’s” and “O’s” to create this tic tac toe “board”.
Tip: In order to plate this salad, you will need to be very organized and have everything ready in advance as this Tic Tac Toe Salad Plate needs to be prepared right before your guests arrive and requires some patience.
