Cane Place Setting
Add a rustic touch to your table decor with this simple place setting idea.
Cane webbing is a woven material that has been around for ages, traditionally used on furniture.
Recently, I have seen it trending and is being used as a design element in many other projects such as vases, wall décor and more.
Here’s a pretty way to add a rustic touch to your table décor with little effort.
You can use the idea to attach a menu card.
You will need:
Directions:
- Cut a piece of cane to 4-inches x 8-inches. If you notice in the picture, the cane is slightly curled up. I only discovered after the photo shoot that placing the cane in hot water for 15 minutes will soften the material.
- Thread the flower and the ribbon through the holes of the cane, as shown.
- Place the cane on top of a folded napkin.
- Place ribbon behind the napkin.
