Yarmulka/Mr. Barber Cupcakes

My Aunt Hannah always used to make these delicious cupcakes (minus the eyes and mustache) which we called “Yarmulka Cupcakes”.

Add some edible eyes and mustaches for an upsherin party  for a treat that is not only cute but scrumptious too!!

Enjoy an old time favorite with a twist, using Jumbo Marshmallows in honor of Lag Baomer.

Bringing a three-year old boy wrapped in a tallis to a cheder to lick honey off the aleph bais letters is one of  the most beautiful and pure minhagim there is.

Add a honey stick and an aleph bais chart to the pekelah so all the children can join in the sweetness.

This idea is a perfect  activity for Upsherin age children. Fun to play and fun to eat!
