Seder in Elegance
Set your table "fit for a king" in honor of Seder Night.
I’m always back and forth about whether to do a high or low flower centerpiece. With a two- tiered stands you can enjoy your flowers high and low. Fill votive holders with flowers, then arrange them on the two-tier stand. As the meal begins, you can remove the flowers and arrange them down the center of your table in many creative ways.
I used an assortment of mini green hydrangeas and other small bud flowers. I used votive holders as vases and rolled cut pieces of aspidistra leave ribbon inside them.
Figuring out seating arrangements takes time, but a well-thought-out plan goes a long way to make sure all your participants feel comfortable right away. These mini wine bottles with name tags will not only keep your table organized, it will also add to the Pesach ambiance. I purchased these bottles at Hobby Lobby. These would work nicely as well.
Craft stores carry a huge selection of beads and pendants to create DIY jewelry. You can use these ornaments to make magnificent napkin rings as well. I used a “ziti” shaped Shambala Pendant which came on a clear elastic thread. All that was left to do, was to slip it over a rolled up cloth napkin.
