In the spirit of rosh hashana, start your meal off with a personalized edible shana tova card in an edible envelope for everyone present.

You will need:

  • wraps
  • aluminum foil
  • toothpicks
  • cooking spray
  • garlic powder

  1.  To make the envelope,  cut a wrap into a square and folded it up like an envelope (leaving one side open).
  2.  Fold a piece of foil into a small square and put in the center of the envelope to create height in the envelope pocket.
  3. Stick toothpicks through the corners of the wrap and then through the silver foil, to hold in place. For extra flavor, spray wrap with cooking spray and garlic powder. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place on baking sheet and bake for 5-8 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  4. Remove the toothpicks from the envelpe. Arrange on a serving plate with salad ingredients all around. (The envelope can be broken up and used as croutons in the salad.)
