Grass Ball and Flower Covered Har Sinai

Arrange this beautiful,flower covered Har Sinai centerpiece in honor of Shavuos, with just a few simple steps.

You will need:

• Oasis foam ball
• 30 Dianuthus grass  balls
• Flowers
• Cake plate

Directions:

1. Soak oasis foam.
2. Cut the grass balls so the stem is approximately 4”
3. Place one ball on the top center of the mountain, keep adding balls creating a ring around the center ball. Continue adding grass balls with flowers dispersed, till you come to the bottom of the mountain.

If you find the stems too soft to stick into the foam, you can uses a skewer to create the hole first and then stick in the flowers….

Flower Har Sinai Centerpiece

The flowers I used for this centerpiece were from the 3/$12 assorted flower bunches at my local Shoprite. I used 3 packages.

Follow directions for the Grass Ball Har Sinai. You will need the skewer to help make the holes as the stems are softer.

Check that the oasis foam is nice and hydrated before  Yom Tov.
