These Dreidel Chocolate Nonpareils check every box—kid-friendly, festive, and irresistibly cute. Serve the chocolate non pareils in a candy dish or you can use them as toppers to decorate cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Whether you’re packaging them for gifts, adding them to your Chanukah desserts, or giving your kids a fun activity, this treat brings instant holiday charm.
Did you know that chocolate non pareils are really simple to make?
All you need is two ingredients: chocolate and nonpareil sprinkles. Chocolate Non Pareils can be made in any shape or size with solid or colorful nonpareils.
To make them, we made a chocolate dreidel outline on top of a layer of non pareils. An outline shape is more delicate than a filled-in shape. You can also fill in the outline with chocolate to make it more solid.
You can make a bigger hole in the pastry bag and make a menorah shape cake topper.
Save this post for other occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. Try it with letters, numbers, and more.
Note: If you’re making letters or numbers, they’ll need to be done mirror image.

You will need:
- baking chocolate
- disposable pastry or ziploc bag

Directions:
- Place chocolate in the pastry bag and put it in the microwave for 20–30 second intervals, until melted.
- Cut a small hole at the tip of the bag.
- Spread the sprinkles on the parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and draw dreidels on top of the sprinkles.
- Allow chocolate to dry. Once it has dried, remove the chocolates from the sprinkles, shake the sprinkles into an even layer, and continue, making more shapes.

Any other way to get the chocolate in the bag? I don’t want to put plastic in the microwave. Thanks
Sure, you can use a double boiler and put it in the bag once melted.
