Creativity in full bloom with this cherry blossom garnish-almost too pretty to eat!
Cherry Blossoms + Cheese cake is a real win-win situation!
Use this beautiful design to decorate your dessert plates. You can also use it to decorate the top of a whole cheesecake.
We cut this round piece of cheese cake from a cheese cake baked in a 9×13. We used this cream cheese frosting from our Cinnamon Buns.
Â
You will need:
- cheese cake cut with Cuisipro Ice Cream ScoopÂ
- mini pink meringues (we made these with a pastry bag and a Wilton 21 tip )Â
- melted chocolate
- serving plate
- parchment paperÂ
- Freezer Ziploc Bag
Â

Â
Directions for Cherry Blossom Design:
- Melt chocolate in a Freezer Ziploc Bag.
- Cut a tiny hole in the corner of the bag and draw a branch. You can do this directly on the plate or on parchment paper.
Â
For the parchment paper method, make sure to make the branch thick enough so it can be transferred without breaking. Allow to dry before moving from parchment paper.
Â
If you are drawing directly on the plate, you may pile them on top of each other to store, as long as the plates are not too heavy. Place parchment paper or saran wrap between each plate.
Â
Decorate branch with the mini meringe blossoms.
