Chocolate Frogs for Pesach: A Sweet Twist on Makkas Tzfardeyah
Pesach is all about bringing the story of Yetziat Mitzrayim to lifeāand what better way to do that than with something fun, interactive, and delicious? Chocolate frogs are a playful way to highlight one of the most memorable makos (plagues) while keeping everyone at the Seder table engagedāespecially the kids.
Why Chocolate Frogs?
Of all the ten plagues, frogs seem to steal the spotlight. Somehow, theyāve become one of the most memorable parts of the Pesach story.
Adding chocolate frogs to your Seder brings that moment to life in a lighthearted and engaging way. It turns storytelling into an experienceāone that kids (and adults!) wonāt forget.
A Fun Addition to Your Seder Table
Chocolate frogs arenāt just a dessertātheyāre part of the experience. You can:

Hand them out during the recitation of the makos

Use them as table decor
-
Hide them for kids to āfindā during the Seder
-
Add them to a Pesach-themed gift or activity box
They instantly add excitement and a sense of anticipation.

The beauty of this idea is how simple it is. You only need a few basic supplies:
-
melted chocolateĀ
-

-
optional: green foil wrappers for a fun finishing touch
Thatās itāsimple, accessible, and easy to prepare.

Hi,
I made the chocolates and bought the wrappers, but I can’t get them to wrap neatly that it looks like the frog shape still. Any tips on how you wrapped it neatly? Ty!
Try to sort of rub the foil on as you wrap it.
