This Croissant Box Mishloach Manos is perfect if you are looking to create a rustic and sophisticated mishloach manos.
Walking into Gelbstiens Bakery/Elegant Desserts in Lakewood, NJ to pick up their mouthwatering, buttery, flaky croissants makes you feel like you have just visited a French patisserie.
While in the bakery the other day to pick up some fresh croissants for a brunch I was hosting, I thought they would make a great mishloach manos.
I simply wrapped three croissants in a piece of muslin fabric, lined the box with the same fabric and added charming jars of spreads and a little sack with tea to the box for a neat, clean and sharp look.
You will need:
- Wooden box or kraft basket (The one used here was 6.5″ x9.5″, I got it from Amazing Savings.)
- muslin fabric for wrapping the croissants in and lining the box
- black cord
- mini jars filled with delinut and jam
- cotton bags
- tea and sugar
- fresh croissants (Gelbstiens Bakery-it is always best to pre-order large orders)
- graphics by [email protected]

We stamped the tea bags ourselves. Here is what we used.
Directions for stamping:
- Position each stamp on an acrylic block .Use block grid lines for precise positioning.
- Apply ink.
- Stamp fabric.
Note: Croissant can be frozen and reheated on Purim, put them in the preheated oven (180ºC / 355ºF) for 8 minutes straight from the freezer Purim morning and deliver fresh delicious croissants.
