When it comes to gift-giving, presentation is key, and there’s no better way to make your gift stand out than with custom, color-coordinated graphics. Whether you’re preparing mishloach manos or any other special gift, this simple yet creative idea will elevate your presentation. By customizing clear boxes, you can create the perfect packaging to match your unique style.

You don’t have to use specific-sized boxes! If you want to create a different design or work with what you have at home, feel free to adjust the size of the boxes to suit your needs. Customizing with graphics is versatile, and you can adapt the idea for any box size or shape.

The Perfect Gift for Any Occasion

This customizable box idea isn’t just for Purim—it’s perfect for any holiday, birthday, or special occasion! By adding personal touches like custom labels, graphics, and beautiful wrapping, you’ll create a memorable presentation that shows you’ve put thought and care into the gift.

What You’ll Need:

To get started, here’s a list of supplies you’ll need to make your custom gift boxes:

PLEASE NOTE: We were unable to find the sizes listed here on Amazon. We purchased these boxes at Center of Town, Lakewood , NJ. You can use this concept using any size boxes.

  • one 8.5″ x 5.25″ x 7/8” box (for the outer box)
  • two 4-7/8″ x 4″ x 7/8” boxes (to be placed in the larger box). Ideally they should be two piece boxes so you can arrange the food easily.
  • two 4-7/8″ x 4″ pre-designed or custom graphics  (printed on cardstock)
  • one 1.5 x 11” band pre-designed or custom graphics  (printed on cardstock)
  • double sided tape
  • dried fruit, chocolate, or other treats of your choice

Directions for printables:

  1. Edit the graphics or use the ready to print PDF. Add personalization if you want.
  2. Make sure the graphics  measure up correctly with your boxes.
  3. Print on cardstock.

A basic understanding of Canva is needed to make edits.

Step-by-Step Directions for Assembly:

    1. Fill Your Boxes
Start by filling the boxes with your favorite treats—chocolate, dried fruit, or any sweet delights you’d like to include in your gift. The possibilities are endless!
    2. Apply Custom Graphics
Next, print your custom graphics  onto cardstock (4-7/8″ x 4″). Using double sided tape, attach the printed box covers to the smaller boxes. Place the smaller boxes in the larger box.
    3. Wrap with a Band
Take the band (1.5 x 11”) and wrap it around the main box to create a cohesive design. Use round clear label to secure in place.
