Dreidel Challah — A Festive Twist for Your Chanukah Table
Now it’s the challahs “turn” to get into the Chanukah action!!
We love braiding our homemade challah in a special way for each Yom Tov, just like our Apple Challah Rolls and Lulav and Esrog Challah. Each holiday brings an opportunity to experiment with unique designs that reflect the spirit of the celebration.
To make a Dreidel Challah ,we did some cutting and connecting to make a dreidel challah pan in order to be able to make our Dreidel Challah.
Whether you’re a seasoned challah baker or a novice in the kitchen, this Dreidel Challah is a fun and festive project that will bring smiles to everyone and a nice twist to your Chanukah table.
Following a few simple steps you can create a custom-made dreidel-shaped challah pan.
You will need:
- 2 square pans
- 1 small loaf pan
- challah dough rolled into large and very small balls.
