Dried Fruit Art

Years ago, our dried fruit list consisted of dried apples, apricots, pineapple and carob. Fast forward to today, where there is an extensive selection of dried fruit available to choose from.

There are so many  creative and fun things that can be done with dried fruit. 

Last year, we came up with this idea to form pictures out of dried fruit. It was so exciting, once you start it starts getting addictive! It’s so amazing to see how the children’s imaginations work and what they come up with.

Supplies:

• kitchen shears for cutting the dried fruit
• selection of dried fruits

• dried pineapple
• dried mango
• dried apricots
• dried kiwi
• dried pineapple/kiwi discs
• dried guava discs
• craisins
• dried pear
• dried peach
