EstherO’s Gourmet Chocolate Bark
Ingredients
- 2 lbs bittersweet coating chocolate
- 1 lb premium white coating chocolate
- 1 lb praline paste
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
Topping Suggestions:
- Nuts: Slivered, sliced, chopped, or candied
- Crushed peppermint candies
- Crushed Oreos
- Coconut flakes
- Klik balls
- Drizzles of melted chocolate: Brown, white, peanut butter, or caramel
Instructions
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt the bittersweet chocolate, white chocolate, and praline paste in a large metal bowl over a double boiler.
- Stir in the Rice Krispies, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets using a metal spatula.
- Sprinkle your choice of toppings over the chocolate before it sets.
- Allow the bark to dry completely.
- Once dry, drizzle with melted chocolate. Allow to dry.
- Cut or break the bark into pieces. For even pieces, let the chocolate come to room temperature and cut with a ruler and a cheese knife.
Notes
Bark can be frozen.
We don’t recommend freezing bark with the crushed peppermint.
