Homemade Granola — A Family First Favorite
We were so excited to clip Chanie Nayman’s granola featured in Family First. It’s one of those recipes that you make once and then keep coming back to.
It’s hearty, flavorful, and endlessly adaptable.
Why We Love This Granola
This granola has the perfect balance of crunch, sweetness, and texture. It works just as well for breakfast as it does for snacking, and it’s great on yogurt, with milk, or straight from the jar.
It’s also a wonderful option to include in Mishloach Manos or as a thoughtful homemade gift.
Our Favorite Add-Ins
One of the best things about this granola is how easy it is to customize. Here are a few of our favorite add-ins that work beautifully:
Pecans or sliced almonds for extra crunch
Coconut flakes for a hint of sweetness and texture
Dried cranberries or cherries for a pop of color and tang
Chocolate chips (added after baking) for a treat-like touch
Pumpkin or sunflower seeds for balance and depth
You can mix and match depending on what you have on hand or the flavor profile you’re going for.
Perfect for Gifting and Sharing
Pack this granola in jars, bags, or boxes, add a simple label, and you have a gift that feels both homemade and polished. It’s no surprise this recipe was featured—it’s practical, delicious, and crowd-pleasing.
Whether you follow the recipe exactly or make it your own with favorite add-ins, this granola is one worth keeping in regular rotation.
