An Easy Cookie Recipe to Make and Freeze
One of the things we love most about these oatmeal chocolate chip cookies is how beautifully they freeze.
They’re perfect for school snacks, an after-school treat, or whenever you need something sweet. We love keeping a stash in the freezer so we’re always ready for surprise guests!

The Secret to Evenly Sized Cookies
For neat, evenly sized cookies, we recommend using a scoop to portion the dough.
Not only do the cookies look prettier, but keeping them a similar size also helps them bake more evenly.
And if you bake often, a large baking sheet is a great time-saver. We use ours for cookies as well as roasting vegetables and so much more.

Your “half bag” of chocolate chips measurement reminds me of my grandmother’s “glazele sugar” measuring system!!! What size bag of chips? In my pantry I have 9 oz and 24 oz bags. Then I see your Trader Joe’s link & that looks like 12 oz bags. Can we get any more confused? Please correct that for how many cups. (Btw I was just going to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies today and was wanting to try out recipe different from the one I have!)
Thank you for bringing that to our attention. One cup is a good amount.
Although, you can adjust according to preference.
