When I was younger, I remember being so impressed watching my mother cut fruits with a V knife. This cool knife easily creates a large zig-zag design. Using this knife to cut your gefilte fish is an easy and creative way to serve the fish.
You will need:
- loaf of gefilte fish and carrots, cooked
- V knife
- 2 tasting spoons
- horseradish, mayonnaise
- lemon slices, lettuce
Directions:
- Fill tasting spoons with chrein and mayonnaise-place on plate.
- Cut a thick slice of fish.
- Using the v knife, cut the slice of fish in half. Place carrots on top.
- Use the lettuce and lemon slices to garnish plate.
