Whether you’re sending your children off with a sweet lunchbox surprise or adding something special to your Yom Tov table, these apple sugar cookies are just the right amount of sweetness, they’re the perfect way to celebrate this season of new beginnings.
Here is a variety of apple-themed ideas, perfect for back to school, Rosh Hashanah or any time of the year.
You will need:
- apple shape sugar cookies
- icing
- colored sugar
- melted chocolate (optional)
- edible markers
Directions:
- Use a green edible marker to color in the leaf.
- Use a toothpick to apply melted chocolate to the stem or color brown.
- Ice the cookie and sprinkle with colored sugar. Allow to dry.
