With the children in mind, we love creating something new, original, and exciting to enhance Rosh Hashanah and make it so sweet!

We especially enjoy sharing ideas that are so doable and easy to replicate. These candy apple cookies definitely fit the bill! We attached the candy apples to a cookie, but that part is really optional. You can make make the apples alone and serve them on a platter. 

These Candy Apple Cookies are also cute to make for Tu B’shvat or Back to School.

You can package them up as party favors, Rosh Hashanah or teachers gifts etc. See some packaging options below.

You will need:

  • Twister Strawberry Wheels
  • cookies, optional
  • chocolate, melted
  • kitchen shears
  • green sour belts
  • Fiber One or Falafel Bits

Directions:

  1. Glue the strawberry wheel to the cookie using melted chocolate.
  2. Use kitchen shears to cut a leaf shape out of the sour belt.
  3. Using a bit of chocolate, glue the Fiber One or Falafel Bits and leaf to the apple.
