Enjoy this fresh and novel idea which brings your classic sandwich to a new level.
With it’s eye catching presentation, these delightful baguette bites will enhance your next event and are certain to be a real crowd pleaser. The attractive variety of crisp vegetables add that extra appeal.
You will need:
- French Baguettes
- sandwich fillings such as tuna fish salad,egg salad, guacomole, salsa …
- fresh veggies such as strips of fresh peppers, carrots, snap peas…
- wood cutting board
Direction:
- Slice off the 2 ends of the baguette to form a straight edge on either side.
- Cut baguette at approximately 4” intervals.
- Cut each 4” piece of baguette in half on a diagonal.
- Stand up the pieces on the straight edge with diagonal side facing upwards.
- Press the soft inside of the baguette down to form a cavity.
- Fill the cavity with your choice of sandwich filling. Garnish with crisp fresh vegetables.
