We’re so excited to introduce this super exciting game. We collaborated with our friends at Time Flies Entertainment to bring you this Dreidel with a Twist Game.
Get ready for the perfect Chanukah game that brings family and friends together!
Introducing an old favorite with a new twist: Where the Biggest Giver is the Winner! “Dreidel with a Double Twist!”
This fun-filled activity will light up your celebrations and create unforgettable memories! 🕎✨
For a triple twist, you can cover the names of the players in advance and cover the names with scratch off stickers.
**How to Play:**
- Print out the Dreidel with a Double Twist game cards. (We included a choice of two-you can use the one with or without the border.)
- Give each player their own grid and a set of coins (for example 10 dimes, 5 quarters… the more coins-the longer the game will take).
- Each player fills in the game grid with the names of players. You can double some names or omit some depending on how many players you have.
- Decide which player goes first.
- Each player spins two different color dreidels per turn.
One color is for the vertical letters and the second color is for the horizontal letters.
After spinning, the player needs to find the correct position on the grid.
For example, using the image above, if a player spins a nun and then a hey, the player has to give Rivka a coin.
**How to Win:**
The first player to give away all their coins first is the winner and receives a prize.
Check out our $5 and Under and $10 and Under prize ideas.
Happy spinning! 🥳

i saw the right leaf story for chanukah three weeks ago on your site and liked it. now i can’t find it. can you send it to me?
Sure-here is the link https://estherodesign.com/right-left-chanukah-game/
I didn’t fully u deans the instructions for this game. Can you please elaborate. Do you need to get specific letter on dreidle in order to give the coins? Do both dreidels need to have the same letter? Do u just give the coin to player whose name is on board, if so then why the need to spin the dreidels.
Thank you for all your wonderful ideas.
Happy to try to clarify the directions.
Each player spins twice per turn.
The first spin is for the vertical letters and the second spin is for the horizontal letters.
After spinning, the player needs to find the correct position on the grid.
For example, using the image above, if a player spins a nun and then a hey, the player has to give Rivka a coin.
Hope this is helpful. It is a great game and a lot of fun to play.
What size is the printable card for this game? What size is each square on the card. I want to make sure to get the correct size scratch off stickers for the game.
It prints as an 8.5″x 11″.
The 1″ scratch off stickers we provided the link for is a good size.
The boxes are 1.25″
Really cute! Why do you need scratch offs though.
You don’t need them to play the game. It’s an added idea to make it even more fun.
Enjoy!
I did this with my class and it was a huge hit!
So happy to hear that it works well in a classroom setting. Thanks for sharing!
I alternated the kids’ names with the word “Tzedakah” on the grid and put a pushka on the table where we played. If you land on the Tzedakah square, the money goes in the pushka! If you want to make it all for Tzedakah, place 4 or 5 different pushkas on the table and write their names on the grid.
What a beautiful idea!
It’s such a special idea to teach your children to think of others while having a good time.
So impressive!
I don’t understand how you get a winner if all give for that person a coin?
And if you spin and land again can you still give for that person again?
Also do I fill out each board the same as everyone’s board?
Everyone fills out their own game board. The names are not prefilled. Every round everyone gives away a coin to the person that the two dreidels land on. Not always will they get a coin to replace it.
