Melon Bubbles – A Cool Throwback with a Fresh Summer Twist

Looking for a light, refreshing treat to serve on a hot summer  afternoon? Melon Bubbles are the perfect answer! This simple, fun snack combines fresh melon balls with cold, fizzy seltzer (or Sprite) for a delightful “pop” that both kids and adults will love.

A Refreshing Snack with a Bit of Nostalgia

If you grew up in the ’80s or ’90s, chances are you remember the trusty melon baller. It was a kitchen staple back then—and it’s time for a comeback! While prepping for this post, some teenagers were standing around watching us scoop perfect melon balls. One by one, they said-“That is such a cool way to cut fruit!” Safe to say, the melon baller has officially been reintroduced to the next generation.

Simple, Fun, and So Refreshing

To make Melon Bubbles, just scoop out your favorite melons, place the melon balls in a pitcher and pour ice-cold seltzer or Sprite over the melon balls. The bubbles cling to the melon balls, creating a fun, fizzy sensation with every bite.

Serve It

Perfect for serving in individual cups, a large pitcher or drink dispenser, this fruity cocktail-style dish makes a beautiful, effortless addition to any summer get-together.
