Coffee ice cream is one of our reliable Pesach desserts. The ingredients are simple—nothing complicated or hard to find for Pesach. It doesn’t try too hard, and maybe that’s exactly why it’s so good. The coffee flavor keeps it balanced—not too sweet, not too heavy and the walnuts add the perfect crunch.

There’s nothing fancy about it, which is probably why it keeps coming back every year. It’s one of those desserts that just works—no tweaks needed, no updates required- just plain delicious!

Pesach Coffee Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 12 eggs separated
- 1.5 cup oil
- 2/3 + 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp coffee granules dissolved in a drop of hot water
- 6 Tbsp vanilla sugar
- 8 ounces chopped walnuts toasted
Instructions
- Place egg yolks, oil ,2/3 cup sugar and coffee in bowl of your electric mixer.Beat 15 minutes. Set Aside
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites till stiff.Add in the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Fold the two mixtures together.
- Place ice cream in one or two 9×13 pans (depending on how deep you want to fill the pans.
- Sprinkle the walnuts on top of the ice cream. You can also add them when you serve the ice cream.
