A Fun Way to Count Sefira (For the Whole Family)
We’ve collaborated with Berlingerart to share an adorable way to make the Sefira days more meaningful—and a lot more fun.
And yes, it’s not just for kids 😉
More Than Just Counting
This is such a special opportunity to slow down and bring intention into each day.
With the lovable characters Shalom & Ahuva, this interactive chart helps you focus on thoughtfulness and consideration—all while “traveling” together toward Matan Torah.
It’s simple, engaging, and something the whole family can actually enjoy doing together.
How It Works
Getting started is easy:
- Print out the pages on 8.5 x 11 copy paper or cardstock.
- Cut out pages 1–4 and paste them together
- Color the illustrations and decorate your poster
- Cut out the counter from page 5 and decorate it
- Use blu-tack to stick the counter onto the chart, and move it along each day as you count the עומר
Bringing Meaning Into Each Day
- At the start of each week, check the מידה
- If you do a kindness connected to that week’s מידה, you can color in that day’s stone
It’s a small, simple way to turn each day into something more intentional.
Making It Work for Everyone
Have more than one child joining?
Instead of coloring the stone, use stickers—color-coded for each child—so everyone can be part of it.
The Goal
Keep going day by day until you reach קבלת התורה on הר סיני.
A visual, hands-on journey that builds excitement and meaning along the way.
Weekly Printable Fun
Each week features a new free printable—a coordinating coloring page that brings that week’s middah to life in a fun, creative way.
