Tu B’Shvat, the 15th day of the month of Shvat, is a holiday also known as the New Year for Trees.

Here’s an adorable little edible tree craft idea in honor of Tu B’shvat.

All you will need is two ingredients.

Trust me, you wont be barking up the wrong tree with this cute and tasty snack!

You will need:

    Directions:

        1. Place pretzels on a parchment-lined cookie sheet, spacing them out so that you have room for the tops of the trees. I used two pretzels per tree. To create different height trees, use different length pretzels or break off a piece of some of them.
        2. Place the chocolate in a freezer Ziploc. Place chocolate in microwave and melt in 30 second intervals, being very careful not to overheat it.
        3. Cut a small hole in the corner of the bag and draw the top of the trees, working in a circular motion. Allow to dry.
        4. To create the base, squeeze out some more chocolate on the parchment paper. Stand the tree in the center of the chocolate. You can either hold it in place till it dries or prop it up against something so they don’t fall down.
