Here’s a quick, easy, minimal-mess and of course sweet-edible craft in honor of Rosh Hashanah.
These Rosh Hashanah Apple and Honey cookies were made with store bought cookies.
The store bought cookies I used resemble a black and white cookie, except they are all white.
They are actually a great “blank slate” for creating other fun cookies as well.
(If they are not available for the Apple and Honey Cookies, you can use the white part of a black and white cookie.)
You will need:
- small white iced cookies (I got these at Gourmet Glatt Bakery)
- red and black edible markers
- yellow chocolate or icing
Directions:
- Cut cookies in half.
- Using the markers, draw pits and peel.
- Dip cookies into icing.
