These cupcakes remind me of an adorable story I once heard.
A mother of a large family was seen, by one of her older children giving a younger sibling a full ice pop. Upon seeing that, the older child said “Mommy, in my days we only got a half of a twin pop” to which the mother replied-“yes- in your days you had a full mother with half a twin pop, he has a half a mother with a full twin pop!!”
One of my favorite childhood memories was sneaking downstairs with my cousins to “raid” our Bobby’s fridge in the middle of the night for a delectable shpritz of whipped cream. There was nothing like that “sssss” sound as we made a perfectly-balanced mound of whipped cream on our fingers as we enjoyed the sweet treat we had helped ourselves to. Here is a fun to make idea that captures all the “yum” of whipped cream, and looks adorable too. (sorry – no “sssss” sound)
Every season of the year brings with it the delicious fruits of the season. In the fall it’s the red, juicy apples. In the winter it’s the plump and nutritious oranges. In the spring and summer it’s the berries, melons and my personal favorite – the peach!
